Spyderco PM3 Scales – Copper with Shipwreck Patina Finish

It’s a one of a kind finish because each patina result is unique, a clear coat is applied to seal and preserve the patina color.

NOTE: THE ITEMS YOU RECEIVE MAY LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE STOCK PHOTO. Due to the nature of the patina process, some have more blue than others as well as varying shades of blue.

***Shipwreck Patina Finish***
The shipwreck patina will naturally change based on usage, it is like a living finish that will continue to evolve due to dirt and oils on your hand and in the environment. I do apply a clear coat to seal the patina before engraving the scales, but you can do an additional clear coat to double up on it. Any clear coat will work and you can apply as often as you want.

We now offer multiple options when you buy one of our PM3 scales:
– Buy this set of G10 scales only
– Add the Ti hardware kit with the scales to install yourself
– Choose the black blade complete knife with scales installed (comes with original black hardware, you will not receive the stock G10 scales)
– Choose the satin blade complete knife with scales installed & Ti hardware kit (you will not receive the stock hardware or G10 scales)

These precision milled scales are a perfect fit to replace the standard G10 scales. The backs have been milled out to receive the nested liners. Includes pocket clip holes for tip-up, right hand carry.

***Uses hardware from stock knife, unless you buy an option with my TI hardware. Not compatible with lightweight models.

*Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot can be tough to remove.

Disclaimer: There are many small parts and pieces on the Para3. It is NOT an easy knife to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk.
