This Chaves 229 Redencion Kickstop Chisel has been taken beyond a surface finish and turned into a full relief piece, featuring our detailed Davy Jones pirate skull design deep engraved into the show-side titanium scale.
The oversized skull and flowing tentacles are built up through repeated laser passes, removing material to create real depth and dimension—not just surface contrast. Fine details throughout the skull, tentacles and surrounding artwork give the scale an almost hand-carved appearance.
The dark recessed engraving against the exposed titanium creates an aggressive, high-contrast finish that fits the bold Chaves platform perfectly.
Paired with the Lee Williams Kickstop flipper system and M390 blade, this build keeps all the performance of the 229 while turning the show side into a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork.
