Spyderco Shaman Copper Scales
The intricately woven skull pattern with an aged look, with hundreds of passes for depth to ensure that no detail is missed. Scales are then lightly sanded, treated with an aging solution that is protected with a layer of clear coat. Copper scales are engraved using one of our many fiber lasers in the shop.
One of the many things we take pride in is providing engravings that last. These engravings will not rub off, but still feels good to the touch. Adds just enough texture to feel good in the hand.
These precision milled, fully contoured scales are a perfect fit to replace the standard scales. The backs have been milled out to receive the nested liners, and pockets have been added to reduce weight. Includes pocket clip holes for tip-up, right hand carry. The scales weigh in at 5.62 oz.
Not compatible with: C229RWDP model with Rosewood Dymondwood handles, due to a different pivot.
*Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality torx bit set to remove the screws and pivot. The pivot can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions.
