Spyderco PM3 Copper Scales with shipwreck patina and created for the ultimate Goonies fan!

We now offer multiple options when you buy one of our PM3 scales:
– Buy the engraved scales only
– Add the Ti hardware kit with the scales to install yourself
– Choose the black blade complete knife with scales installed (comes with original black hardware, you will not receive the original G10 scales)
– Choose the satin blade complete knife with scales installed & Ti hardware kit (you will not receive the original hardware or G10 scales if you select the installed option)
***Please note in the photos, there is no pocket clip on my knife. But if you buy the complete knife, it is a brand new PM3 and will come with the stock pocket clip.

LASER ENGRAVED detailed design featuring a section of the infamous One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure Map. With a one of a kind shipwreck patina finish, each patina result is unique. These are one of a kind finishes, some have more blue than others as well as varying shades of blue. A clear coat is applied to seal and preserve the look. Scales are engraved using one of the many fiber lasers in our shop.

NOTE: THE SCALES YOU RECEIVE MAY LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE STOCK PHOTO. These are one of a kind finishes, some have more green or blue than others as well as varying shades of green and blue.

***Shipwreck Patina Finish***
The shipwreck patina will naturally change based on usage, it is like a living finish that will continue to evolve due to dirt and oils on your hand and in the environment. I do apply a clear coat to seal the patina before engraving the scales, but you can do an additional clear coat to double up on it. Any clear coat will work and you can apply as often as you want.

Scales are custom made, milled from copper to fit the Spyderco Para 3. They are 4.25″ overall and weigh 3.25oz. No hardware tools are included, must use original hardware for assembly unless you purchase the Ti hardware kit with it.

There are many small parts and pieces on the Para 3. It is NOT easy to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk. Also keep in mind that almost every knife manufacturer provides a list of specific actions that could void the manufacturer’s warranty.

**Titanium hardware kit includes everything you need to replace all visible hardware on your knife: Pivot Screws, Body Screws, Pocket Clip Screws, Stop Pin, Barrel Spacer, and Lanyard Tube. The only stock piece this kit won’t replace is the pivot barrel – steel performs better than titanium for this part and you definitely want to keep that drop-shut action! This hardware kit weighs about 0.11 oz.

Installation of the hardware kit requires some basic tools and knowledge, the pivot can be tough to remove. Titanium screws require a little finesse as they are not as strong as steel screws, high quality torx bits are recommended to ensure the best experience.

Hardware kits are not made here, these are Flytanium brand, and we are not responsible if you are unable to make them work with your knife. We personally have assembled many kits with no issues, we will not accept returns on hardware kits after you have attempted to install them.
